Renee Brown grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa with an extremely organized mother, so she learned from the best!.
In addition to alphabetizing her Partridge Family albums as a kid, she also rearranged her bedroom monthly, even designing new layouts by drawing up floor plans on graph paper.

After earning a Journalism degree at the University of Iowa, she headed north to the land of Mary Tyler Moore (Minneapolis) and began her career in advertising, with stints of editorial work, marketing, public relations and account management thrown in through the years.

She went to her first NAPO (National Organization of Professional Organizers) meeting in 1999 and excitedly realized she could turn her love of organizing into a career; what a trip! However, as the single parent of two young boys, she knew that dream would need to sit on the back burner for a bit.

Flash Forward: She now takes delight in helping overwhelmed homeowners "turn the corner" and discover new ways to run their households through basic organizing principles that are tailored for each individual situation and family. Through her 10+ years of being a single parent, she has mastered the art of efficiency, time management and developing her "well-oiled machine" into a harmonious household. Or at least as harmonious as a house can be with teenagers bearing guitars, drums and keyboards.

Living in the western suburbs of Minneapolis with her two teenage sons and three goofy felines, Renee loves cleaning her closets, listening to music, watching movies, reading books and magazines, networking, performing improv, writing for her church newsletter and sipping wine and/or coffee with girlfriends. She is a member of NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers), both nationally as well as the Minnesota chapter; and Faithful Organizers.
